When it reached 12:00 am my brain automatically registered "August 31, gotta end the contest" but I didnt stop to think about the time. contest update, new vanity, haul

My contest is ending in a few days (August 31st). So get your entries in as soon as possible. So far, with the ones I have, im having a hard time choosing. All you ladies did a wonderful Job! I know I havent been updating you guys on the contest as regularly as I should, actually I havent really been updating my blog period. Haha.. I was busy with work and all and just been lazy to type. LOL!

So anywaysss, I posted up a wishlist entry a while ago. And one of my priorities on the list was a vanity. Just when I almost gave up I ran into one at Kmart. I wasnt even there to look for one, it kinda just popped up and I just had to get it. I am so glad I didnt settle for the ones I already saw for like $500 and up, uh uh I am not spending that much on a table. But the one I got at Kmart was only $165.99 and its pretty darn close to what I was visioning. It's perfect. It was the last one too : )

This was the vanity I had in my mind. I love black furnitures.

And this is the one I bought at Kmart. The only difference is the color and it has no mirror and stool but those are just minor things to worry about. I am so glad I went to Kmart that night, if I waited another day I wouldnt even know that it even existed there LOL. They said they just put out 5 that afternoon and it sold fast. The one I have was even the one on Display, they had put it out only for a few hours, So it wasnt used and abused if that's what you're thinking : p and plus I was not gna let someone else take it. I saw that other people were eyeing it. Haha. Another plus was that it was already assembled. So I just brought it home and organized away.

I love my new vanity. More space, more storage and its just so gorgeous!

Another thing i've been in search for is a nude/close to my skintone lipstick. And thanks to Lindah, I found one, it's M.A.C.'s Freckletone lipstick! She told me that she was an NC40-ish shade and so am I. Thank you gorgeous! I am so happy that its in the permanent line, woohoo!

I've been waking up a few minutes later for work lately and the gel fluid liner takes too much time and effort. So I wanted one thats easier to handle and more on-the-go. I love this stuff, its like more than waterproof, lol. It last forever. Haha

And strolling around/shopping all day in heels is painful, so I went and got me these flipflops to wear. OMG They are so comfy and I can walk forever in them. Dang flip flops were prettty pricey $21. This is some kinda surf brand, Cobian.

Oh and I finally received my IPHONE 3GS! Wooohoo, anyone know of any good apps?! Fill me in!

So sometime last week or before that I ordered some things from Eki, and they're finally here! OMG they are so prettayyy! I got the "Hime Pokadot B Cosmetics Pouch" (which came with a matching bow hair tie) and two of her "Charmy Bows A" one in purple/lavender and cream. She also threw in some extras which I love love love. She added a charm to the zipper of the pouch, one of her new bow hair ties, two baby hair clips, maybelline lippie and some yummmy candies. My cousin is planning her 21st birthday (end of september) and appointed me "party planner/coordinator/mistress of ceremony", its something i've always wanted to do, so yayyy! Her theme is Casino/Pokerface/Sin City (havent really got an exact one but you get it right?) and omg have we got so much ideas. We just came from a porn shop/adult costume store and got her outfit, its so sexxxay! The theme suits her well because first of all, she's turning Twenty One! And well because she is a hardcore gambler. So far we've come up with a few fun "adult" games ; ) and the decor is gna be fabulous...with dice,playing cards, poker chips and all the sorts. We're gna get some people to dress up in suits and have a blackjack table, I cant wait! Throw in some of your ideas for games, decor and whatever you feel like sharing with me. I appreciate it thanks girlies!

extra good news

So if you haven't read my good news, bad news post, then I dont think you'd understand this one so clickety click lol. Anyways I talked to the supervisor at Docomo (my service provider) last Saturday, she told me that she really has no say in this situation and she's going to have to discuss the situation with her manager and that she'll give me a call on Monday (today) but she cant guarantee anything. I waited the whole day til four in the afternoon (lucky thing work kept me busy or else I would've been even more pissed) and still no call. So I decided to call her myself and turned out she was taking another call. At around 5:30 she called back and was like "good news, we will cancel your blackberry data with no penalty to you and replace it with the regular data". You dont know how relieved I was. You know how when you call a company and you get this automated-woman/man-thingy-ma-jigg-press-one-for-whatever shit? (lol) well before they connect to a customer service representative, that voice tells you "this call may be monitored for customer blah blah blah" Well I guess that's what they did, they went back to those. I gave them the date and approximate times of my calls. So yayyy! I dont have to pay that ridiculous $400 cancelation penalty. And I get to use my iphone...I was already resorting to selling it and getting another blackberry. Now im even more excited! Thanks to those who left sweet comments, trying to help and making me feel better. Loves you! So anyway im gna cut this short...I know, boring post haha till next time sweeties!

mac's makeup art cosmetics collection

So who's excited about the Makeup Art Cosmetics Collection?! I am! Even though I know I wont be getting everything that I want from the collection, I wna show you what's on my wishlist and what im definitely getting. Im in search for a nude lipstick that's close to my skin tone and a lipgloss to go with it. Im crossing my finger that Front Lit Lipstick is thee one. I may have to swatch it before actually getting it. What I usually do when a new collection comes out (and im really excited about it), since Guam's MAC counter doesnt really follow the collection's release dates (and is usually really late), is order from their website. Here are two more fotds I managed to snap a picture of. I pretty much just used the Benefit's F.Y. Eye and the 88 Warm Palette, no concealer, no foundation, been lazy lately to do so lol.

I love Benefit's F.Y. Eye, it works just as good as, if not better than the urban decay primer potion and omg its smells like roses or something. I love it. Pluuuss, it's not in that stupid annoying tube, the fy eye is in an easy access pot. With the UDPP, I still get them ugly creases after longwear. But with f.y. eye it stays on all night like you just put makeup. UDPP kinda feels gross coz it takes a while to dry, idk maybe its just me. F.Y.Eye has their signature cream to powder texture, it feels fresh in your eyelids lol. Which has the better vibrancy of colors? (if that even made sense lol) well udpp does make the colors vibrant, but F.Y. Eye is seriously better. So overall I love f.y. eye and I am using it to replace udpp : ) I know it isnt a legit review but I hope it still helps some of you ladies who requested one.

Anyway, the fotd's look a little similar. Just different colors. Enjoy : D

good news, bad news

So to understand the bad news you have to know the good news. I sold my Blackberry Curve 8320! Yayy! I posted it up on a local forum and the next day got so many calls/texts. I was originally asking for $250 obo because I changed the whole housing, keypads, side buttons and trackball. I got to sell it for $230, not bad. Why did I sell my blackberry? Because I wanted a White IPhone 3GS and I bought one online already. So I cant wait for that. Anyways here's a before&after picture of my beloved blackberry.

Now for the bad news. Before I sold my blackberry, I called Docomo (service provider) and told them that Im planning to switch over from a blackberry to an iphone. I asked them if I can use the blackberry data on the iphone...and she said yes, I asked again "are you sure" and she said yes. A while later I wanted to be sure so I called again and spoke to another staff, asked the same question. She even said "yes we have some customers that do that". The next day, I still wasnt confident enough to go through with selling the bb. So I called again and spoke to yet another staff and said yes as well. So I sold it. Right after the lady who bought my phone left, I called Docomo again. I asked again and this time she (different person) said no and with an attitude too. She was all trying to make me feel/look stupid. She was like "that's why they call it the blackberry data" I wanted to get ghetto on her and cuss her ass out. But no I was civil, I explained about the 3 different staffs that gave me the "wrong information". And she said, and I understand, that the blackberry data is made especially for the blackberry and wont work for any other phone. Soooo I asked her, since the bb data wont work on an iphone, can I change my plan from the bb data to the regular data. And all she told me was that There will be a cancelation penalty, half of what I have left on my contract. I have about 20 months left at $39.50 a month [thats $790 minus half = $395, what i will have to pay to cancel]. . I am not paying any cancellation fees, if thats the case, I wouldnt even have sold my bb had I known the correct information. If it wasnt for them telling me that its ok then I wouldnt have sold it. I am not letting this go. I am not gna be penalized for being given the wrong information. three times. It's ridiculous and I cant express how pissed off I am. Thats the reason I asked so many times before I followed through and they are not willing to compromise for their staffs' mistakes. I even talked to the supervisor and she's giving me the same bs. I clearly stated that I am not going to pay 400 freaking dollars for something that could have easily been avoided. Its not like im trying to scam them, I am willing to keep the data as long as they change it to the regular data. Its stupid isnt it? Im the "victim" for a lack of a better word, and im still the one being penalized. I was so stressed at work and couldnt concentrate. Its either I cancel that bb data and pay $400, keep paying for the bb data at $40 a month til april 2011 or get a new blackberry. But I just payed $700 for an Iphone (again because they said it was ok) and I dont wna sell that coz I want it. I wish I had their Names. I remember 1 out of the 3. Oh and another thing, the supervisor said, when she checked my account, that there was no remarks or notes saying that I asked that. Of course, because those good for nothing bitches didnt ask for my account number. So now im even more fucked, with no proof. The only thing I can say to back myself up is: Why would I set myself up for this? Why would anyone? Why would I set myself to pay a cancelation fee worth hundreds of $$? If this was my fault then I will take full responsibility, its not my fault I was given the wrong info three times in a row. I swear, had I known that its not possible then I wouldnt sell it in the first place. I never really was excited about an iphone until the first time i asked that. When I was told its possible, thats when I started really wanting an iphone. Help? Im fucked!
