Lol, no im not going to apologize for the lack of posts coz it might happen frequently. I've just been studying for an exam that I had last Saturday.. and although im not a hundred percent I know I did pretty good :) Also, ive been busy running errands before we go on vacation for two weeks to the Philippines.. Im so excited! I'll be staying in Makati & probably a day in Pangasinan to visit my maternal grandparents.. So let me know what places I should check out, restaurants we should try, places to shop and stuff like that..

I havent done looks with color in forever.. I usually do a neutral or smokey eye. Since I wanted to do something smokey with a hint of color I chose to MAC's Humid and Climate Blue. This look was just for a Sunday outting with my boyfriend.

I've been into doing simple nail designs lately.. its something that comes and goes. And when it comes I change my polish (& design) about two times a day. This is just one of my favorites that ive captured on my camera.. The rest are on my iphone so i'll post them at a different time.

I used 2 coats of China Glaze's Silver lining on the tips and a black Milani nailart polish to line it. Topped it off with OPI's Rapidry Top Coat.

Hello lovies!

It's been a hell of a long time! lol I dont wna make any promises but.. im baaack! Hopefully I can commit to a post a day (or at least every other day) since I quit my job to concentrate on my studies or until I can find a job that'll work with my school schedule. Anyways idk why I stopped blogging, I was just too busy with.. life I guess. And also I havent been playing around/experimenting with make-up lately. It's just been brows, eyeliner, blush & lippy and that's on special occasions (I know *sadface) .. but I found my groove again, yayyy!

Anyways, how has the beauty blogger world been without me?! If you ask me.. it's just the same stuff, different day. Lol nahh jp.
Like I mentioned earlier im back in school, finally after 5 years of graduating from highschool.. but hey better late than never right?! Im taking classes for Pharmacy Technician.. it's pretty intense considering the program is 2 years worth of information crammed into 5 months (were on our 2nd month now).. Im thinking "what the hell did I just get myself into?!" I never thought i'd be anywhere near the medical field but it's worth the try.. wish me luck!
If ya'll are wondering.. Yess, im still with my boyfriend Marvin ♥ We just celebrated our 8th year anniversary last June. & Like any normal couple we have our fight days.. lots of it lmao! But at the end of the day, it STILL makes us stronger. I get the question "When are you two gna get married?!" alot and my answer to that is "Pssh girrrl, Im wait'n on my Rock" hahaha jp. We have talked about it.. but he doesnt want it official without our birthstone on my finger, the diamond! hehe.

NOTD
I got these acrylics a few days ago and its been a while since I last got them done because I tried growing out my natural nails. My nails are not that weak but theyre not strong enough either. They chip easily and I hate having them different lengths at one time, so I constantly cut them short. I've tried nail hardener nail polishes to vitamins. Anyone have advice?! Anyway I just stuck to the french manicure, I got the clear tips and painted on white instead of the white tips. I find myself wanting to change the colors alot.

Date Night FOTN
I wore this look when the boyfriend and I had our date night for our 87th monthsary... Yesss 7 years and 3 months after we still have our monthsary dates :D We just had dinner at the Lone Star Steakhouse and instead of doing movies at the theatres we rented DVDs, snuggled & cuddled all in the comfort of our room. Nothing more romantic.

stupid bottle, new lippy.

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion...
I'm in love with the product... but I just hate that pretty bottle! I have tried other eyeshadow primers (like Benefit's F.Y. Eye or MAC's Prep+Prime to name a few) and yesss this, like many of you, is my HG. Even with the new wand there's still a good amount left in it, but what's the use?! When the time comes to massacre that bottle and save the product... I give it a few days and it dries up on me... It defeats the whole purpose, because I still have to throw it out anyway. I've tried different containers from regular sample jars to MAC's paintpot and fluid liner jars and they just dont do the job... because my room is just cold. Your gna laugh when I tell you that I was so desperate, I even tried to heat it up in the microwave for about 10 seconds or less... it became even more dry... and hard. Hahah! Yeah stupid move... Anyway, enough ranting.

Look at all that product left in there that the wand couldn't reach.

Urban Decay listened again, first when they changed the wand and then when we said we just wanted that bottle gone! It now comes in a squeezable tube. No more wasted product and better yet its alot less contaminated. The old bottled ones were $16-$18 for 0.34 oz. The new squeeze tube is $29 with 25 ml more product at 0.85 oz. It's pretty expensive but at least now your really getting all your money's worth. Now if they could just do the same with Sin and Eden :D

I found another lippy that fits my criteria for my skin tone (NC42), It was MAC's Siss and before that was MAC's Freckle tone. I didn't like that Freckle tone was in a lustre finish... Im more into the Satin, Matte and Cream finish lipsticks. Siss seemed perfect but it was still a tad bit too light and just felt like I looked like an oompa loompa. I definitely wanted some pink tones but thought pink was never my color. Some people could definitely pull off the light/pale lips but I feel I cant. So since I needed to back-to-mac a few containers I went in and picked up 'Faux'. It's a color I would never have picked up just by looking at it or even swatched on the back of my hand, the SA insisted that I try it on and I just fell in love. It suits my skintone imo and it has a bit of a mauvy-pinkish undertone. So its got that pop of color.

I also want to share with you something I thought was cool. I'm the person who does my hair before my makeup because I like the feeling of fresh makeup on my face before I leave the house lol. It takes some time with my hair and if I were to do my makeup first It'll start to feel all oily and cakey, yuck! I usually where my hair sleek & straight and when Im done with the hair part I usually have to tie it back to do makeup since claw clips never seem to have a good enough grip and since my hair is silky/smooth it starts falling all over my face. I hate the crease ties make in my hair after untying but I found these clips at kmart by scuni, they were $5.99. They have double claws and let me tell you that they really hold your hair back. If you have the same problem you should definitely check them.

The highlights actually came first. I initially wanted to do a light brown color and then highlights but since my hair was dyed jet black my hairdresser said it most likely will not lift. So she just did the highlights. I think it turned out pretty good. So anyway since coming back from California i've been unemployed and have applied to one place only. So my interview went well but there were quite a few of us so I cant really say if I got it or not. Anyway I kept the look pretty simple, just threw on some foundation, eyeliner, blush and lipgloss...and she said she liked it.

First thing I got was the Juicy Couture 'Viva La Juicy' Parfume Set at Macy's. It was $95. I love this because it smells very sophisticated and classy. It comes with the Parfume Spray & Gel and body lotion.

Next thing is this faux pearl earring set. Only $4.99 at Ross. The medium sized ones are a perfect size for me.

I got this Revlon Photoready foundation in 006 Medium Beige. I hate how they dont have testers coz I got this shade and its wayyy to light for me when applied on. So this is most likely going straight to my blog sale because its no longer returnable, I would compare this to NC35-37.

The last two things I hauled was this $1000 Queen-sized Pillow Top bed and the comforter set was from Ross for $33.99, It is thee most comfortable bed ever. Im so glad I invested on this instead of another bag that I was planning to get :D

People who live in the Philippines...I need help ASAP!

So, I made my very first sale on eBay! Yay me right?! Well it turned out to be a scam as I suspected. The buyer with the username "imbrenstemig" contacted me and told me he/she would like to purchase the item. After giving info about shipping and all that he/she used the "buy it now" feature. I noticed he/she had zero feedback and I was thinking maybe she was just a new user. So I thought using paypal was safe... this person paid me with a total different name and email address, and I was thinking maybe it was her bf/husband (because sometimes I use my bf's account) but at the back of my mind I already was thinking it was something I should be alarmed about. The person im having these email conversations with has a different name from the person it was sent to and the person who paid. I'm pretty much ~~fucked~~ because I am not covered by Paypal's seller protection plan. To be covered I would have to have sent it to a "verified shipping address" and (not or) have to have proof that it was delivered. The proof of the delivery part is probably okay because I shipped with USPS Express Mail with insurance and they would have to get a signature but the other part is what I am kicking myself in the ass for and that I should have been more careful... They buyer didnt have a verified shipping address. I tried contacting USPS to have them stop the delivery but they cant do anything because it has already reached the Philippines and USPS can only recall a package or do anything with the package basically is if its still in US possesion... What I am trying to do now is contact Philippines customs or The post office (the package is being delivered in Pasay City) so I can have them stop from delivery! I've been searching HI & LOW for contact numbers and I am trying to do all this before it gets delivered. It has been in P.I. Customs possesion since the 14th...They could be releasing it very soon. And once it delivers I have no choice but the refund because the credit card holder made a complaint that they didnt authorize the charge... and If the item was worth let's say $100 -$200 I wouldnt be as worried...but this item is worth $700. This person is a true scam artist!

It's 6 am and I haven't gone to bed yet. I enjoyed re-reading my old posts (and comments) and have decided to start up this beauty blog again, little by little. Alot has happened in my absence. The last time I posted was Valentine's day (2010)...WOW!
Anyway the boyfriend and I took a vacation to LA, California and absolutely loved it. It was my first time there. I live on Guam, a small U.S. Territory island thats only 30 miles long and 4 miles wide...so you can imagine how bored I am. Hahah! We stayed in California for about 3 weeks and Vegas for a week. Before I left for this vacay...I suddenly decided to sell my car and quit my job. I was thinking about going back to school when I got back.
While I was vacationing I applied to work in different areas just for fun. And landed one in retail...it made me think about moving out to Cali since I had gotten rid of most of my major bills. Exactly one month after coming back from vacay I packed everything and moved to Cali, it was my first time travelling alone so far away from home...my boyfriend had to stay behind because he had our other car to pay off first or sell it which ever came first. He threw me a little Bon Voyage party at a bar and my parents were my first visitors. Before everyone came my parents were giving me that pep talk about being careful and calling them everyday and then...my dad starts to cry, which is rare and im sure its like that for most of you... he was telling me that Im his only daughter and this is the first time theyre gna experience one of their kids being away. And it finally hit me that im gna make my life somewhere else...without my family and friends there...and without my soulmate (for a while). I honestly didnt wna leave anymore after that. But I was also eager to have a new life...
I took a week or two off before I had to report to work and my friends and I drove to the bay and back and did alot of sightseeing that I didnt get to do on my vacation time. It was soooo much fun and I really liked living the independant life...unfortunately I was wayyyy to homesick and especially my boyfriend wasnt there to make things better. I tried to suck it up but ultimately I just wanted to be with him and my family for a little bit longer. Imagine making that big (impulsive) decision in a months time...so I stayed another month in LA and then Marvin flew me back and have been happier since. We still want to do the Cali life but this time together :D That month apart from each other actually made our love deeper and appreciate each other more :D
Its been another month since I got back home and I will be attending school soon. I hope you enjoyed that little update/story... and now I can catch up on the beauty part of this blog.

Valentine's Day FOTD

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY! ♥ KUNG HEI FAT CHOI!

I hope everyone had fun and made love...haha get your minds out of the gutter people! My boyfriend and I did things different this year. Instead of going all out with expensive gifts and expensive lunch/dinner like we usually do...we just slept in till about ten thirty-ish and just cuddled before we got ready to stroll around, just like any other day off for us. Two days before lover's day though, I was at my job doing paperwork when someone called out my company's name (there were other tour agent companies in the room too)...I was caught up with my work so I didnt look up and I just thought it was regarding one of my customers, so I just yelled back 'over here'. When I finally looked up, the delivery guy asked me 'are you Sharlene?' and handed me a teddy bear holding a rose, chocolates, and a pillow which said 'I love you'. The balloon read 'Today, Tomorrow & Forever, I love you'. My boyfriend knows that im not the teddybear-flower-chocolate-balloon type of girl... I just think its a waste of money and plus he was never any good at keeping secrets from me especially if its a surprise like this...that's why I was so touched when I saw this, 'nakakakilig'! Yea yea its corny but I love when I get surprises coz most of the time he gets excited and just tells me about it lol. The second part of this Valentine's gift (and xmas '09 & my birthday gift) is still being made, but they said I should expect my LV Damier Canvas Galliera before my birthday which is in April. The reasons why we didnt wna splurge for vday is coz we wna save for our trip to Cali/Vegas...Im just waiting on my manager's approval to take leave. And plus...why do we have to wait for Valentine's to be all sweet, we're sweet everyday and we love each other everyday, it didnt hurt us not to have anything fancy... it actually saved us cash :)

On the day of, we just ate late lunch at an italian restaurant and then walked around the mall, bought some more lashes at the mac counter at macy's. We had to cut our little date short coz my head was aching from drinking the night before. So we went home and cuddled some more ;) when I woke up from my nap we went to my grandmother's house coz they were celebrating my auntie's bday. Anyway onto the fotd...

After dinner last night I asked my boyfriend, if we can check out Duty Free Galleria just to look around, that's the ONLY way I can get him to come in with me into the Louis Vuitton boutique there (Yeap, he hates those stuck up SA's that just stare you down). Anyways, I know I just got a bag M.T.O. like a week ago which costed $1,640 but that's his Christmas (and advance Valentines & My birthday & our 7th Anniversary) gift to me (which he insisted&promised to get but I probably wont even get it til 3-6 months later) the Speedy is one to myself. I feel like I deserve it coz I work hard and I am responsible with my bills : D I know I know this bag is so common, but it's also a timeless piece...it was stylish back then & it's stylish right now & it's probably going to be stylish in the years to come. Of course he was kinda upset, coz he already had spent so much on the one he got me and then I go and spend another $725. But I just had to HAVE it, sorry babe.

I paid off his all credit card bills and I might get him the wallet he wants from LV or rims for the Lexus for Christmas, Valentines, His Birthday & our Anniversary LOL! We couldn't get each other Christmas gifts on time coz we spent all our mula buying for our Godchildren, family & friends. But it's ok, better late than never, and I love him even if he didnt have a gift for me.

I have never been to the U.S. and have left my island twice in my life (to Philippines) and both times were very very long ago... 1992 & 1999. We have no set date yet but I wna go sometime during our birthdays in April, do ya'll think thats a good time? I haven't been in the mood to wear makeup lately. My mood was just one factor, another one is because I just had my eyebrows embroidered/tattooed towards the end of December (the 30th to be exact). So its gna be pretty hard to maneuver foundation around them.

I have been debating for thee longest time whether or not I should go forth with it...I seeked advice from friends and family and of course most of them disgreed. I have naturally light haired brows and since i've been plucking them since the 6th grade they're now sparse and thin. I find it a hassle to have to fill 'em in all the time and be careful not to get them smudged and what not. I was watching flymamaL's youtube channel and I adored her brows. I asked her if she had 'em done...turned out she fills them in everytime but she mentioned about getting it embroidered. I was like "what the hell is that?" so, (when in doubt) I Googled it. Hahah. Its supposed to look more natural/less harsh and its semi-permanent. Its a different technique and ink so it does not change to that yucky green-ish color (thank god). I told my cousins about it since I dont have sisters... and they too, since it runs in my mom's side of the family, have light haired/sparse brows. I was too PANTY to try it out first. So my younger cousin did hers first and I waited for full results which took about a month and a half to two months to fully heal until I did mine. And let me tell you it hurt like HELL! They do put numb cream but since thats only on the surface it didnt really do much. It helped when she first stabbed (for a lack of a better word) me, coz it just felt like plucking your brows but the pain gradually increased. But I sucked it up coz after all 'Beauty Is Pain'. An hour or so of pain and results will last about 15 (or more) years vs. filling them in all your life. After the session was done it didnt even hurt/sting, it was like normal but you still have to be careful lol. Anyways...I had my 2nd session/re-touch today and OMG it hurt more than the first time. I dont mean to scare you but its the truth. But if thousands of other people get it done you can too (if you want too)! I will post up pictures of it once its fully healed so dont worry. Unless you wna see 'em so bad then just let me know.

Well on to the good stuff. I know I said I haven't been in the mood to put on makeup because of my brows, but towards the end of two weeks after getting it done the first time they were kinda healed so I started playing again and it got me into buying more makeup. I wanted to get the MAC #109 brush from my counter but they were out so I ordered online and it got here in less than a week. I also ordered the upstarts:well prepared set. I am in love with the base and the translucent powder. and it comes with a travel size fix + and cleanse off oil which is just tooo cute.

I originally only ordered one Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion but I guess the sender didnt know she had already sent me one and sent another. Yay me!

Dang! I haven't done this in a while...let alone update. I havent really been in the mood to even put makeup on for the past month or so, except for eyeliner blush and lipgloss, simple. I've been so busy with my christmas shopping trying to buy things before they run out and catching up with all the sales going on. But now that I have crossed mostly everyone's name on my list I can slow down a bit. And just recently our Macy's opened up a M.A.C. counter and the price is nothing compared to the one that was already open at the duty free shop. The latter was taking on the asia pacific prices while the one at macy's is U.S. So its cheaperrr, I know its probably nothing new to the U.S. residents though hah! And I love this new counter because they carry more products and have more selections to choose from. Marvin and I have been dreaming about getting a Lexus IS 250! And we finally have it! He sold his Tiffany & Co. colored Honda Civic (I love that color) and a few other cars before that.

Im going to miss it just because the color is unique. But Im happier now coz we get to roll out in a 2007 Lexus IS 250...it feels so good to sit on the leather seats and to have the car memorize mine and his seat, steering wheel, and rear view mirror adjusments, coz he's tall and im hella short. And on rainy days when its cold we could use the heated seats or when its a hot day, cooled seats. Its just so luxurious. Just what we need after a long days work. The car isnt brand new though only because he doesnt like the look of the 2009 model. He said the 07 looks much more "sporty". But i dont care I love it!

He initially wanted to get one in california and have it shipped here because it's much more cheaper that way but he got tired after a month long search so we went to the Lexus dealership just to look around and he saw one he liked. His dad has a couple of friends that works there so they hooked us up. The car was selling for $29,000 but was brought down to $24,500...that's almost $5,000 off.

I dont have an actual picture of it yet but I have a wallpaper. He's planning to "fix it up" for the next car show, in the luxury category so he doesnt want me to show it yet haha.

I am so pissed off, and pissed off does not even justify what I feel about this one seller on Ebay! Her name is Thong Pham and her username on Ebay is BeautyGirl4. She is such a LIAR and she is very unprofessional! What kind of person uses curse words to repond to a PAYING CUSTOMER!? She basically sells high end cosmetic brands such as M.A.C. Pro, Bobbi Brown, Clinique, Estee Lauder etc. And since M.A.C. Pro is not available where im from, I decided to order the M.A.C. Full Coverage Foundation because its what ive been wanting. So the story goes...

She was actually nice when I would message her back and forth about which full coverage foundie shade is most comparable to NC40 - NC42 in the studio fix fluid shade, prior to purchasing. I read the description and everything like I always do before I buy anything, especially online let alone Ebay. And usually I dont buy from sellers who have less than 99.7% feedback and as much as possible I buy from perfect scores, but she was the only one who sells it and she had a score of 99.2%.So when I decided to get it, I sent her a message right away after IMMEDIATLEY paying for the item asking for the tracking number and me being considerate because she must be a busy woman, I waited at least 2 days before I messaged her again for a reply...and exactly one week after that still no reply. I was kind of fed up because she asked to be paid immediately and I expected to be treated the same. So I sent a message again telling her that it is very unprofessional of her to keep a PAYING customer waiting for this long and that I was upset and I would open up a dispute on paypal and leave a negative feedback, and sure enough she responded very quickly and in the same day too. and She didnt even apologize! Ugh I swear...So I left it at that. and then I finally received the item six days after not including weekends. (i ordered on 9/25, she shipped on 9/26 my time, and received on 10/06). I usually leave fb after I received the item. I left a negative feedback to her anyway because I want other people to know my experience with her.

My negative feedback to her:
"seller waited til I threaten 2 leave neg fb to respond. poor communication!"
and this is her response to that:
"threaten to give neg cuz it's been 2 days since payment that she get it yet."

And she retaliated and LIED about how long it took her to reply. That was most definitely not 2 days, try one week! She sent me a message because she was mad, its so stupid of her to make it personal and call me a BITCH and pretty much say Im stupid. She thinks im mad about the time it took to get to me, how dumb! She probably doesnt even understand, can someone please translate in her language whatever the fuck she is! Sorry for being rude but I am pissed that someone who doesnt even know me and is connected with me strictly by business only can call me that.

here's her message to me after the negative fb was left:
"It's fucking bitch like you that ruin the rest of the oversea buyers chance of getting anything on ebay. You can't fucking read let alone think that GUAM, the place that you lived is not in the 50 states. Don't think that threaten me with neg to get a response. I did response back to you with tracking #."

Yes she did respond indeed, but AFTER my threat to leave negative feedback and thats was one week after. I am beyond angry that she can talk to a customer like that. I wish there's a way I can post that up for her future customers to see how unprofessional that is. She's all cussing because she got the money already...oh well im happy with the product but not with the seller!

Anyway, if you know me, I responded to that degrading message and degraded her even more.

My message to her:
"What the fuck is wrong with you?! That is so fucking unprofessional of you. This is probably why you get such negative fb because you're the BITCH! I never cussed in any of my messages to you or anyone for that matter, except now! For your info I was NOT mad about the time it took to get here because it got here pretty quick and I DID READ EVERYTHING ON YOUR DESCRIPTION BITCH! I am mad about the fact that after you requested for immediate payment and after I sent a message to you asking for the tracking number you did NOT fucking respond! You responded AFTER I said I will open a dispute and leave negative fb and you didnt even apologize! You cant get mad at ppl who dont like your service! And just for replying to me in an immature way...I will let all my friends and all the readers of my blog from around the world know that you have a VERY bad service and not to buy from you ever! Dior Haul

This past Sunday the boyfriend and I got up pretty early, we usually sleep in on our day off. But we're deteremined to get ourselves a Lexus IS 250! Even though we know we aren't getting it on island we went to the Toyota/Lexus dealership just to check it out. If the dealer would've taken our trade in (my 08 Mitsubishi Outlander) for a good price then we just might go for it but that's usually not the case. And Marvin doesnt wna give up my car coz we need an SUV also.

So after we left Lexus we went to the Mall...we didnt know that a Filipino Singer/Actor "Billy Crawford" was going to perform as a fundraiser to help victims of Typhoon Ondoy. Before it started we looked around Macy's for a bit and I hate how these S.A.'s (no offense) are so pushy sometimes, its like i'll get it if I want it...which was the case. haha! I didnt plan to even buy anything but one of them at Dior was like "oooh I like your makeup" and I ran out of mascara so I didnt have any on, honestly I hate putting on mascara coz everything i've tried either clumps badly or the formula just dries tooo fast. So she noticed (ugh!) and asked if I wanted to try the "diorshow iconic extreme" at first I was like "its okay im just looking around" and she insisted to just "c'mon and try it" how annoying right? well when I tried it...OMG I fell in love. It made my lashes look fuller without being so clumpy and longer too...the only set back was the price. $27! For a frikkin mascara! I ended up also getting the dior show brow styler (another love), an eyeliner, and a makeup bag. I didnt know that the bag came with some samples and a dior pendant until I got home! Yay! If only the pendant was an 'S' for Shar. I spent nearly $100 at once. I need to control myself, I end up forgetting about some products I buy which is why my blog sale if forever on going. lol.

Eyeliner come with an eraser, Brow Styler, Mascara & a sample of under eye dark circle fading cream which I have yet to try.

This is perfect for traveling, since the bf and I are planning to go Philippines at the end of November. I like this better than the Sephora one I bought (and sold) coz it has two compartments.

This is the view if the bottom compartment. You can put your palettes, foundations and anything big in here

and the top one can be used to store false lashes, brushes, single eyeshadows, anything really!

And here's the 'D' Pendant...its really pretty but it'd make no sense to wear an initial 'D' when neither me or Marvin has a d on our name. Now if it spelled 'Dior' then thats a different story. Anyone wna buy this Dior 'D' Pendant from me? Let me know!

I ordered two things off of Krystal's Blog Sale last week and I received it today. Yayyy Thanks Krystal! First thing I got was the Famous NARS Blush in ORGASM mmm! lol. It was bubble wrapped so nicely but I noticed some of the product was all over the packaging --stupid post office people, when they see the package says "FRAGILE" they will not handle with care, the more they will just toss it around. I heard a few friend's relatives did that when they worked there ugh-- anyway I already knew before I opened it that it was cracked but I was still praying that it wasnt.

When I opened it I found this and was so bummed : (

If this ever happens to you ladies, dont throw it out just yet. You can actually save it and re-press it, it's just like pressing a pigment. Its kinda unpretty and messy but its better than wasting the cash you spent for it. So anyway here's what you'll need:

Your cracked product, a petri dish, a spatula (in my case im using the end of an eyebrow shaver), a stick to mix, rubbing alcohol (i used green cross isopropyl alcohol with 70% solution but any rubbing alcohol is fine), paper towel(s) and...

anything with a flat surface with a similar shape to what your pressing.

Place your cracked product in the petri dish and smash until they are really broken up and fine. At this point you can eithe follow the next few steps or keep it as it is and place it in a jar with a sifter. You can use it kinda like a mineralized blush : D

Once you get it smashed enough, add a few drops at a time of alcohol and mix. Its better to start off with a little because you can always add and its harder to subtract.

Mix it until you get a pasty consistency. Once you get to that consistency, place it in the middle of the container of your choice with your spatula and tap lightly to evenly distribute and to get rid of any bubbles at the bottom of the pan.

Its should look like this. Let it sit for about five to ten minutes for it to get a little firm.

When its firm enough, take your paper towel and blot it until no more color gets on the paper towel. And then let it sit for another ten to fifteen minutes. While your waiting, you can clean up the mess around it and because the case I used is kinda rubbery, alcohol will help take off some residue but be extra careful and use a Qtip or something similar to that. A bbq skewer stick with a little cotton wrapped around will get into the crevices better.

Be sure not to use your hands directly like stupid ol' me, unless you dont mind, because they will stain it for a while.

After letting it sit for a while take your flat surfaced object and wrap a paper towel (or an old shirt) around it and just press the product firmly. The markings on the paper towel or tshirt will be stamped onto the product, let it dry completely (about an hour or more if you feel it needs more) and then its ready to use again.

Here's a swatch of the re-pressed Nars Orgasm Blush (on my middle finger) LOL dont mind my stained pointer finger. Anyway I hope that helped, im so happy i didnt just throw it out!

Review: Sigma Makeup's Travel Kit - Naughty in Black

I've been seeing/watching alot of reviews about SigmaBeauty's Brushes Lately. Everyone is just raving about it's good quality, how the brushes corresponds to and how its much more AFFORDABLE than M.A.C.'s. I was kind of skeptical for a while, because alot of companies now-a-days claim their products are high quality but aren't or even because the reviewers are sponsored by that company so they kind of have to say good things about the product. Well I am not sponsored in any way by Sigma Makeup, I bought the kit with my own money at my own will.

Most travel kits, like M.A.C.'s, are made up of synthetic fiber. And with synthetic fiber, they can kind of be too harsh on the skin (for me that is). When I first started really getting into makeup, I bought a basic brush set from M.A.C. which comes with almost the same brushes that the Sigma travel kit comes with. And when using it to apply it pokes me like crazy. I gave that away, lol. The Sigma Brush Set however, are made up of natural bristles which are much more gentle and its just like the full sized brushes. Its soft yet dense enough to pick up the products for more coverage and pigmentation.

And the best part is, each individual brush is no more than $20. They also come in kits which cost a bit more, but when you calculate the most expensive kit which is $149, its about $10 for each brush... shipping inclusive (u.s.). And that comes with a brush roll already. You can get high quality makeup brushes and save hundreds. That wont work for me coz I spent nearly $700 intermittently on the M.A.C. brushes I have, talk about shopaholic. My boyfriend thinks I should attend Shopaholics Anonymous or whatever those therapy sessions are called. Haha. Anyway im planning to get the complete brush kit with the roll coz I love it so much.

So the Sigma Makeup Travel Kit - Naughty in Black is $49. It comes with travel sized brushes in the F30 (MAC #150), F40 (MAC #168), F60 (MAC #190), F70 (MAC #194), E30 (MAC #219), E40 (MAC #224), E55 (MAC #239) and a faux leather clutch. They also throw in a travel sized F50 (MAC #187) in the pink handle from the Nice in Pink set as a gift. But me being so obssessive-compulsive about everything, I asked if I can have the F50 in a black handle : D and that's exactly what I got.

contest update, new vanity, haul

My contest is ending in a few days (August 31st). So get your entries in as soon as possible. So far, with the ones I have, im having a hard time choosing. All you ladies did a wonderful Job! I know I havent been updating you guys on the contest as regularly as I should, actually I havent really been updating my blog period. Haha.. I was busy with work and all and just been lazy to type. LOL!

So anywaysss, I posted up a wishlist entry a while ago. And one of my priorities on the list was a vanity. Just when I almost gave up I ran into one at Kmart. I wasnt even there to look for one, it kinda just popped up and I just had to get it. I am so glad I didnt settle for the ones I already saw for like $500 and up, uh uh I am not spending that much on a table. But the one I got at Kmart was only $165.99 and its pretty darn close to what I was visioning. It's perfect. It was the last one too : )

This was the vanity I had in my mind. I love black furnitures.

And this is the one I bought at Kmart. The only difference is the color and it has no mirror and stool but those are just minor things to worry about. I am so glad I went to Kmart that night, if I waited another day I wouldnt even know that it even existed there LOL. They said they just put out 5 that afternoon and it sold fast. The one I have was even the one on Display, they had put it out only for a few hours, So it wasnt used and abused if that's what you're thinking : p and plus I was not gna let someone else take it. I saw that other people were eyeing it. Haha. Another plus was that it was already assembled. So I just brought it home and organized away.

I love my new vanity. More space, more storage and its just so gorgeous!

Another thing i've been in search for is a nude/close to my skintone lipstick. And thanks to Lindah, I found one, it's M.A.C.'s Freckletone lipstick! She told me that she was an NC40-ish shade and so am I. Thank you gorgeous! I am so happy that its in the permanent line, woohoo!

M.A.C. Liquidlast Eyeliner in Point Black.

I've been waking up a few minutes later for work lately and the gel fluid liner takes too much time and effort. So I wanted one thats easier to handle and more on-the-go. I love this stuff, its like more than waterproof, lol. It last forever. Haha

And strolling around/shopping all day in heels is painful, so I went and got me these flipflops to wear. OMG They are so comfy and I can walk forever in them. Dang flip flops were prettty pricey $21. This is some kinda surf brand, Cobian.

Oh and I finally received my IPHONE 3GS! Wooohoo, anyone know of any good apps?! Fill me in!

My cousin is planning her 21st birthday (end of september) and appointed me "party planner/coordinator/mistress of ceremony", its something i've always wanted to do, so yayyy! Her theme is Casino/Pokerface/Sin City (havent really got an exact one but you get it right?) and omg have we got so much ideas. We just came from a porn shop/adult costume store and got her outfit, its so sexxxay! The theme suits her well because first of all, she's turning Twenty One! And well because she is a hardcore gambler. So far we've come up with a few fun "adult" games ; ) and the decor is gna be fabulous...with dice,playing cards, poker chips and all the sorts. We're gna get some people to dress up in suits and have a blackjack table, I cant wait! Throw in some of your ideas for games, decor and whatever you feel like sharing with me. extra good news

So if you haven't read my good news, bad news post, then I dont think you'd understand this one so clickety click lol. Anyways I talked to the supervisor at Docomo (my service provider) last Saturday, she told me that she really has no say in this situation and she's going to have to discuss the situation with her manager and that she'll give me a call on Monday (today) but she cant guarantee anything. I waited the whole day til four in the afternoon (lucky thing work kept me busy or else I would've been even more pissed) and still no call. So I decided to call her myself and turned out she was taking another call. At around 5:30 she called back and was like "good news, we will cancel your blackberry data with no penalty to you and replace it with the regular data". You dont know how relieved I was. You know how when you call a company and you get this automated-woman/man-thingy-ma-jigg-press-one-for-whatever shit? Even though I know I wont be getting everything that I want from the collection, I wna show you what's on my wishlist and what im definitely getting. Here are two more fotds I managed to snap a picture of. I pretty much just used the Benefit's F.Y. Eye and the 88 Warm Palette, no concealer, no foundation, been lazy lately to do so lol.

I love Benefit's F.Y. Eye, it works just as good as, if not better than the urban decay primer potion and omg its smells like roses or something. I love it. Pluuuss, it's not in that stupid annoying tube, the fy eye is in an easy access pot. With the UDPP, I still get them ugly creases after longwear. But with f.y. eye it stays on all night like you just put makeup. UDPP kinda feels gross coz it takes a while to dry, idk maybe its just me. F.Y.Eye has their signature cream to powder texture, it feels fresh in your eyelids lol. Which has the better vibrancy of colors? (if that even made sense lol) well udpp does make the colors vibrant, but F.Y. Eye is seriously better. So overall I love f.y. eye and I am using it to replace udpp : ) I know it isnt a legit review but I hope it still helps some of you ladies who requested one.

Anyway, the fotd's look a little similar. Just different colors. Enjoy : D

So to understand the bad news you have to know the good news. I sold my Blackberry Curve 8320! Yayy! I posted it up on a local forum and the next day got so many calls/texts. I was originally asking for $250 obo because I changed the whole housing, keypads, side buttons and trackball. I got to sell it for $230, not bad. Why did I sell my blackberry? Because I wanted a White IPhone 3GS and I bought one online already. So I cant wait for that. Anyways here's a before&after picture of my beloved blackberry.

Now for the bad news. Before I sold my blackberry, I called Docomo (service provider) and told them that Im planning to switch over from a blackberry to an iphone. I asked them if I can use the blackberry data on the iphone...and she said yes, I asked again "are you sure" and she said yes. A while later I wanted to be sure so I called again and spoke to another staff, asked the same question. She even said "yes we have some customers that do that". The next day, I still wasnt confident enough to go through with selling the bb. So I called again and spoke to yet another staff and said yes as well. So I sold it. Right after the lady who bought my phone left, I called Docomo again. I asked again and this time she (different person) said no and with an attitude too. She was all trying to make me feel/look stupid. She was like "that's why they call it the blackberry data" I wanted to get ghetto on her and cuss her ass out. But no I was civil, I explained about the 3 different staffs that gave me the "wrong information". And she said, and I understand, that the blackberry data is made especially for the blackberry and wont work for any other phone. Soooo I asked her, since the bb data wont work on an iphone, can I change my plan from the bb data to the regular data. And all she told me was that There will be a cancelation penalty, half of what I have left on my contract. I have about 20 months left at $39.50 a month [thats $790 minus half = $395, what i will have to pay to cancel]. . I am not paying any cancellation fees, if thats the case, I wouldnt even have sold my bb had I known the correct information. If it wasnt for them telling me that its ok then I wouldnt have sold it. I am not letting this go. I am not gna be penalized for being given the wrong information. three times. It's ridiculous and I cant express how pissed off I am. Thats the reason I asked so many times before I followed through and they are not willing to compromise for their staffs' mistakes. I even talked to the supervisor and she's giving me the same bs. I clearly stated that I am not going to pay 400 freaking dollars for something that could have easily been avoided. Its not like im trying to scam them, I am willing to keep the data as long as they change it to the regular data. Its stupid isnt it? Im the "victim" for a lack of a better word, and im still the one being penalized. I was so stressed at work and couldnt concentrate. Its either I cancel that bb data and pay $400, keep paying for the bb data at $40 a month til april 2011 or get a new blackberry. But I just payed $700 for an Iphone (again because they said it was ok) and I dont wna sell that coz I want it. I wish I had their Names. I remember 1 out of the 3. Oh and another thing, the supervisor said, when she checked my account, that there was no remarks or notes saying that I asked that. Of course, because those good for nothing bitches didnt ask for my account number. So now im even more fucked, with no proof. The only thing I can say to back myself up is: Why would I set myself up for this? Why would anyone? Why would I set myself to pay a cancelation fee worth hundreds of $$? If this was my fault then I will take full responsibility, its not my fault I was given the wrong info three times in a row. I swear, had I known that its not possible then I wouldnt sell it in the first place. I never really was excited about an iphone until the first time i asked that. When I was told its possible, thats when I started really wanting an iphone. Help? Im fucked!

I've been slacking on my fotd's, I know. I haven't had the time or the energy to snap a photo and then list down what was used. But i've managed to capture two of them. The first one was what I wore tonight, we had dinner at our favorite korean restaurant - Chung Gi Wa - my korean co-worker said it means "the roofing of a house is blue" idk I couldnt really understand her accent lol. and then to Kmart to buy more shipping materials for my blog sale. But anyways I havent had the need to wear foundation lately because its been suuuper hott, but then again living on Guam, we only have 2 seasons Summer and -though its not a season- Rainy. Im so happy that I finally found the perfect (for me) and my hg facial wash/exfoliator. I don't need much coverage, YAY! Or at least I think so, what do you guys think?! Both of the looks I wasnt wearing foundation at all. And I wore the 2nd look to my cousin's 24th birthday dinner!

I love Sundays! Today Babe's parents came back from the Philippines, we ate lunch with them at our favorite teppanyaki restaurant - Samurai. After that we looked and shopped around at DFS (Duty Free Shop). I felt like treating myself coz I havent been shopping for makeup much or anything else for that matter.

I've been wanting to get the BenefitF.Y. Eye and I finally got it. The Urban Decay Primer Potion is kinda getting annoying. I love the product but I HATE the packaging! I opened it up and put it in the MAC Prep+Prime Eyes container, and guess what? It dried up really quick, so the product still went to waste. Let's see how this works. It claims that it doesnt crease and makes the colors more vibrant.

I love this! From the M.A.C Baby Bloom Collection, Suntints. I got it in Pink Tinge and im thinking about getting more / another color. It has SPF 20 and it feels so good on my lips. I wasnt really excited when I saw it on the website, but when we went to the MAC counter I just fell in love. I'm not really a lipstick person (which is why im selling all the lipsticks I have here) unless I find the perfect nude (close to my skin tone) color. I like lipglasses more.

I was surprised to see this at MAC, the Graphic Garden Palette. I love this, such pretty colors. This was the last one too. I wanna get the Fresh Cut one next.

Wow! It's been a while since I posted a real update. Anyway over the weekend (last week) I was just tired of feeling sick, so to kinda make me feel better I ordered the 88 warm and shimmer palette. OMG! I am so pleased and happy that I sold my 88 matte and 28 neutral and got these babies. I cant believe I've waited so long to get them.

Summer Bonus
So my co-workers and I were hanging out at the break room before we time out and one of our BIG bosses comes in. I thought we were going to get in trouble for being loud or something like that. But instead, she handed each of us an envelope and we looked at each other with big smiles on our faces because we knew it was that time of year when we get one of our BONUS checks (we get one in summer and one in christmas) Woooohoooo, talk about christmas in July hehe! I really wasnt expecting anything big or even expecting one at all because of the recession and business was kind of slow due to the swine flu outbreak. I know my managers wont be reading this but they still deserve a BIG THANK YOU! And now what should I shop for!? A new bag, some makeup, a few things for the bf. Im getting all excited about spending it even though I know I should save if I want to take a vacation. Quick before I go, True Story: My hand (left one) has been itchy this past week and people (filipinos to be exact) kept telling me "You're going to receive money" (it's a superstition, if you're left hand gets itchy, you're going to receive $$$. But if it's your right hand, you're going to spend). I dont know if I really believe it or if its just coinicidence but everytime my hand gets itchy, I do get money, not always alot but I do. This time, I really thought I touched something I was allergic to coz the itch just didnt go away for a few days. Yea I admit I had the thought of the whole getting money thingy but I wasnt waiting for it. And wow, now I realize I just got my bonus. Hahah lame but its kinda cool.

My boyfriend and I were looking to get a professional camera, if we had extra money. Which we did, but that was put aside for our potential trip to Philippines in November.

Just recently a friend of a friend got a Nikon D40 as a gift. He's a begginer and decided to use Babe's car as the subject/model. Marvin was so excited, thrilled, flabbergasted etc. at the quality of the pictures that he searched the internet and just bought a Nikon D60. Talk about impulsive. Im pissed off because he likes to get mad at me when I shop for makeup, but I never splurge at one time on makeup, the most i've probably spent at once is $50 or so. Compared to him spending almost $3,500 on a motorcycle and then $500 for a camera. I mean I do want the camera but now that I think of it, it's kinda ridiculous. Isnt it?! Omg I dont know what to think. This camera better come up with a way to pay for itself, lol. And before that, we were planning to get a JVC 42" flat screen hd lcd tv for our room that's on sale for $899.99, and that's a REALLY good deal, looks like were not getting it. Unless he cancels his order. After lecturing him, he understood where I was coming from and he felt bad. I didnt want him to but we still have bills to pay - the cable is due, grocery to shop for (esp. his parent's are in the Philippines right now). I'm just shocked!

Heyyy! It's been a while since my last post. Anywaysss, where's everyone's entries to my contest?! I thought it was a fun idea. I may have to push the dates back (or not) If I dont get enough entries. Theres a link in the right sidebar, click the image for more details.

I am starting to get sick again. Out of no where on Wednesday night I started coughing. The next day I had a slight fever but I still went to work, at night was a different story. My fever went to 100 +. I skipped dinner and slept all night, but I woke up around 2 am coz the cough was bothering me. Babe fixed me up something to eat before taking the meds. Im not really big on medicine but I really didnt wna skip work the next day, so i took it hoping it will help me feel at least a little better. I read the instructions after drinking it and said it causes drowziness and to clear up at least 8 hours. Well it was 2 and i wake up for work at 07:45 and start at 08:30. I was so worried that I might not wake up in time because of the medicine and sure enough my cellphone and home phone was ringing off the hook at 09:30. I woke and was liek "fuck" i knew it. I was gna be in trouble, because i didnt get to work for a week and a half about 2 weeks ago. My bosses already held a meeting about my attendance and now I didnt wake up for work. My employers are really strict about attendance so im scared I might lose my job. I've been there for 3 years now and I admit im always calling in but there are somethings that you just cant help. Gosh im so scared. So when I was talking to my supervisor on the phone she was like "what happened again?" so I explained about the medicine and told her I wasnt coming in so I can see the doctor AGAIN! Well the doctor said its the flu but he doesnt think its the swine flu. He said my symptoms arent severe but Im still very scared. We now have 24 confirmed cases and 1 death on island. And Guam is a very small island. So he gave me a mask to take around because its easier for me to get exposed to the swine flu because I already have the flu.

And here's me being silly with my cute purple mask. I was smiling, stupid me. Haha

I bought the August 09 - August 10 Organizer. I cant live with out this and no other planner compares.

And I also ordered the Coastal Scents 88 Shimmer and Warm Palettes, That definitely made me feel better. Thank God I was approved for the Paypal Plus Credit Mastercard. The whole thing costed $59.60. Even if CS lowered the prices, the shipping is still a bit expensive. I cant wait for them to arrive.

Create an Arabic Style Inspired Makeup. From what I noticed, when I google 'Arabic Style Makeup', They usually have flawless, porcelain-like skin, and really bright colors on the eyes yet it still looks smokey because of the heavy eyeliner on both the lashline and lower lashline.

So I decided to just keep this palette only because its too pricey to ship out for free. Coastal Scents Eff'd me up on this. There's a little bit of shimmer to them so its okay I guess. I have the 88 Color matte palette as well thats why I reeeaally wanted the shimmer double stack. But I compared the two and no two colors are the same except for maybe the brown and black. Over all im happy with the color payoff and the blushes are just gorgeous! I think this is the same as the blush palette on its own, the colors are just arranged differently.

I only did a few swatches of the eyeshadows because there's just too many to show them all. These were only swatched once and look how pigmented they are. Enjoy!

For the blushes, since its only ten colors, I swatched them all! I cant wait to put this baby to use.

Coastal Scents also included a sample of their loose eyeshadow in "Cool White". I love this color and I might just order a full size of this. Its got this kind of pearl sheen to it and its suuper pigmented, This was also only one swatch

I mentioned on my last post that my cousin from Washington is back for vacation, well she's leaving on Tuesday [that went by so quick]. But anyway we took another studio picture and this time our theme was HOT PINK. I really didnt know what look I wanted to do on myself and I was running outta time coz I woke up late [due to our late night karaoke-ing]. I woke up at 1pm and had to start getting ready. I left my house by 2:30 coz my cousin [Michelle] asked me to do her makeup so we were even more tight on time. I wish I took a before and after, she wanted some color but subtle. I think I did the opposite of subtle hahah. She had MAC Sushi Flower and Passionate on her lid and then MAC Shadowy Lady on her crease. I pretty much used the same colors I used on me. And then one of our other cousin's [Diana] met up with us at the house and she asked me to do her makeup too. Again, no pics. I did a Smokey eye on her with a hint of pink. But for some reason [I guess the lighting] made it look like she had dark circles around her eyes. haha! So we had to quickly soften it up a bit. Anyways heres what I wore:

Rant; not for those who are sensitive to cuss words

Okay so we took our studio pictures at the same studio as last time and we [or maybe it was just me] were suprised that it was a different photographer. At some point during our "photoshoot", for a lack of a better word, I murmured under my breath that I fucking hated this photographer. My cousin's were like why? and all that. I explained and they agreed. He basically used the same fucking pose for every shot he took, the only changes that were made were the people. 3 sitting up front 3 standing in the back, all we did was rotated. OMG I was so fucking pissed, Excusè Moi for my french but I did not wna pay for something UGLY! We all did not like how the pictures turned out. IDK but a good photographer will try to even it out meaning one person was leaning in closer than the other one so theres like awkward spaces in between us and it just did not look professional. If I wanted some like that i'd just take my own fucking camera and take it myself on selftimer or something! We asked if we can take another set of poses and with a different photographer [the one we liked was on vacation, just great], he told us that we'd have to pay another sitting fee of some sort and it was their policy. That pissed me off even more. I mean I understand that all companies have policies so that they dont lose out. But this was totally the photographers fault. Who the fuck takes pictures like its casual?! Thats why we go to a studio to make it all nice/professional and shit. I really did not mean to hurt his feelings but if im a paying customer and im not satisfied [and they're not willing to compromise], I AM going to voice it out! Now, if we just didnt like the way we smiled or if our hair was all whack and outta place or our shirt wrinkled up, I understand thats not on the photographer, but the godsh damn poses were wayyyy off! My cousin tried to calm us down by saying she doesnt wna get all worked up coz she knows how it feels to be in their position. But trust me when I say I KNOW HOW THAT FEELS TOO. I work with Japanese tourist [they are hella Service Oriented] one wrong move and they will complain, BUT at my company we COMPROMISE, because we know they're paying customers and we want them to come back. If they waive the 2nd fee for taking a new set of poses or even discount for that matter than I'd be ok but the bosses didnt wna admit that the fucking photographer was off just so they dont discount the 2nd fee. And from the looks of it, he doesnt have experience. I dont know that for a fact but I was really unsatisfied. But we couldnt just leave with out paying anything so we just decided to pay that extra $40 some and take a new set with the owner as our photographer. He was wayyy better and gave us a variety of PROFESSIONAL looking poses to choose from. In the end, they gave us a $12 dollar discount for the 2nd fee. Im glad they realized. I've been taking studios there for a while now with the photographer we like and the first time [this time] it wasnt him, I was never more unsatisfied. And these picture packages, they are not cheap! Rant over.

LOL at the name! You cant even tell that the olive green is there. This is the first look I did that I like and isnt smokey. Haha. I always thought brights and neutrals didnt suit me. I feel better with the more dramatic smoked out looks. If I wore bright colors I have to have my carbon mixed in somewhere lol. And guess what? Kinda irrelevant, My face is sorta clearing up from the breakouts. I still dont know what caused it, but thanks to my new HG facial wash: Loreal Skin Genesis Deep Purifying Foaming Cream Cleanser. I've been using it for the past three weeks or so and I love it. I love how it has the micro beads for exfoliating. It leaves my face feeling so smooth and clean. I gotta stock up on it too, everytime I go kmart theres never any left. Hopefully they didnt stop selling it.

Yesterday was my third year anniversary employed at H.I.S. Guam Inc [Japanese Tour Agent]. You know what that means? I get Fifteen days of paid vacation + 6 days off, three whole weeks of doing nothing and I dont have to worry about not getting paid. My boyfriend and I are planning to go on a trip off island. But to where?! I really wna go to the Philippines because I haven't been there since 1999, that's ten years ago. His parents were planning to go Vegas to visit my brother-in-law, my friend Jenny his gf and the baby [due sept]. Of course we dont wna miss out on that too. And we also wna go JAPAN! I am fascinated with the Japanese culture and language eversince I took up japanese class in highschool. Lucky thing I took that class instead of spanish. Guam is a huge tourist spot. The bf wants to go there of course because of the CARRRS! I dont get it, but then again he says the same thing to me with my makeup haha! So thats all the update I have for now, later ladies!

I have been sick since Sunday night and it sucks like hell. I've had to force myself to work because we're kinda getting busy and that's done no good for me [except when payday comes hehe]. It's getting worse by the minute. Because im coughing crazy, im developing sore throat. My nose is sore and dry from running like a faucet [lol how ironic does that sound]. On top of that, I just cant sleep under this condition so I have headaches like 24/7. I was freaking out coz I was thinking, oh no I think I have the swine flu. I went to the clinic after work yesterday, I waited almost 45 minutes to be seen by doctor and it only took her about 10 - 15 minutes to check me. All she did was use the stethoscope to hear my lungs said I was weezing a very tiny bit because of the cough and phlegm and prescribed me the cough meds. I hate that doctor, she's not very thorough. My preferred doctors were busy and it was almost time for them to close. GRRR!

On a better note, I've swapped [for the first time] some things with Krystal and DSK Stephanie. I cant wait for them to come in, i'll post on it once I get them. I was kinda skeptical about swapping but I trust them. They are both having a makeup blog sales, click on their links to take you there. I've been wanting the 88 shimmer palette and the 10 blush palette, instead he got me the 42 double stack shimmer eyeshadow and blush palette.

It's $10 cheaper and who needs all 88 shimmer colors anway? I have about a gajillion eyeshadows and I dont even use all of them. The blush palette that comes in the double stack is slightly different colors than the regular one but thats ok. Gosh im so excited! I feel kinda bad though coz I was the one who asked Cheysser to order with me. I probably will, I want the Magnetized Pan/Palette and some brushes. So Cheysssserrr whenever you're ready bebe doll. LOL.

Yayyy! I have the weekend off! I think i've mentioned before that my company has been really slow due to the outbreak of the swine flu. So management decided to give a few days of vacation and of course there's a catch. It's without pay, but we gotta use up what's left of the ones with pay that we have left. And of course I used up all of mine, haha [I get 21 days of paid vacay next month on the 9th]. I initially didnt wna take any because I need the $$$. A few of my co-workers were taking weeks at a time so I decided I want a break too. I requested for Friday and Saturday since im off on Sundays. To start off my little vacation, I went a little [okay alot] crazy cleaning and organizing our room, this was after sleeping in and I woke up around 12:30pm. But anyway... I found some things that I have been searching hi and low for, threw out things we didnt need anymore and just rearranged the furnitures. It's so roomy now and it feels good. And I did it all by myself [i like it better that way] as the bf was at work and I wanted to surprise him, hehe. I finished at around 5pm just in time before he gets home. It was a hell of a hotttt day, so it felt damn good to get in that cold shower. I was so tired that I took a nap right after and 30 minutes later he was home! I love that relaxed reaction on his face. But we had to get ready for a family dinner, it was his sister Farren's 16th birthday. She didnt have anything big. Alot of people, me included were ~~telling~~ advising her to just wait till her 18th. Since its traditional for us Filipinas. We just got her a cute hot pink and black plaid top, no picture though haha.

Anyhoo I wore this look to the dinner. Typical, pink and purple with a pop of blue LOL. How long have you been using MAC?
A year and a half, I just started really getting into makeup last year. Before that all I ever wore was lots of eyeliner and lipgloss.

What was your first MAC product?
Woodwinked Eyeshadow.

What's your all time favorite MAC product?
Blacktrack Fluidliner

What's your least favorite MAC product?
The pressed powders, they are not oil-free and my face is really oily. Even if you just swatch some on your fingers you can already feel it. Same goes for the foundies but I used an oil control base so I can work with it.

Do you own a Pro Card?
I wish! I did everything I could to get started in beauty school but the schedule is just not something I could work around. It's 9 am - 4 pm everyday except Sunday and Monday for Eleven months, my work is only open from 8 am - 7 am and I cant just quit coz I have a car to pay. Ugh I hate this dilemma.

What's your favorite MAC foundation?
Studio Fix fluid, it has great coverage. I just wish they have oily skin type formula.

Powder:
Not really a fan. I use baby powder to set, its transparent and it mattyfies.

Eyeshadow:
My all time favorite is CARBON. I can do an entire smokey look with just this!

Lipstick:
Heatherette Collection; Fleshpot, a little goes a long way.

Lipgloss:
Fafi Collection; Sugartrance, another all time favorite

I'd say the 217. Its stiff enough to cover the lid but it's also fluffy enough to blend.

We took this picture because one of our cousin is leaving to Washington next Wednesday. There's a few of us missing because they are in the states [M.I.A. Yesterday, my cousin's and I went to get our pictures taken because one of them is leaving next wednesday to Washington. It was so much fun, my cousins are hella funny I swear. In most of our pictures someone is either laughing or blinked their eyes. Anyway, our theme was supposed to be ALL white. But most of us, ok well me and one other cousin, didnt have or couldnt find an all white outfit to buy. I went to ROSS again, I was searching high and low for something white. I was about to give up and ask my cousins "why dont three of us wear black and three of us wear white" and then I saw a plain white 3/4 sleeve top sticking out of the rack from afar LOL. Guess what I did? Yep I ran to it before anyone had their hands on it. Haha. I was actually skeptical about getting it coz it was just tooo... plain, but I told myself, i'll just dress it with some accessories. So that's my story pretty lame haha. anyways here's what I got

I got this from ROSS, I wore it with my white top for the picture. It was only $5. I wna go back and get the yellow and pink ones.

Another one from ROSS! Although this dress is plain, it screams summer, to me at least. The sleeves go off the shoulder plus it makes my boobs look nice. Just the right cleavage. hehe. This was $8.99 Dont you just love the color?

I got this frame for the picture that My boyfriend and I took on our anniversary, cute no?! It was $3.99 Haha so cheaaap!

I've been wanting to get another wallet because I've been using my Louis Vuitton one for three years straight. But I didnt wna settle for a cheap one. I was thinking of getting a new LV, Marc Jacobs, Chanel or even Gucci. I know i know I AM materialistic [and what? I work for my money]. But I seriouly need to give poor LV it a rest lol. My work has been so slooow lately, due to the "swine flu outbreak", that upper management is encouraging us to take lwop [leave without pay]. I'd rather take that than get layed off, other companies are considering that. Anyway, I was never really into Le Sportsac, coz I love LEATHER! But I told myself, now is not the right time to splurge on another wallet. So I just got one from Le Sportsac, I never really liked prints on my wallet unless its just unbearably cute, like toki doki. The one I got is just plain black, like patent leather almost. But I LOVE IT! This was $46 but I got a 20% discount = $36.80, cheap huh. It's roomy and it has a wrist strap so it's also like a wristlet.

So I finally met Maggie and Vince at kmart, she is just so much more beautiful in person. If you think her pictures are HOTT wait till you see her in person. And she's such a sweeetheart. She gave me this Green flower ring coz she knew I was into these. MAGGIE THANK YOU! And yesss I LOVE IT girrrl, dont worry. Thanks for even thinking of me. Dont worry im gna get you back.

This is the look I wore to our "photoshoot" haha. I was already running late from all the shopping I did. So like I always do when im in a hurry, I resorted to my smokey eyes. I was thinking of wearing red lips, but that's a little to much. Lucky think I didn't coz our background was a red rose. I really like how our picture turned our, with us wearing white and the red background. I post it up once I pick it up, which is later on at 5pm, hehe.

So on our way to Kmart [around 10:30 pm] not far from home we notice that a bunch of cars were stopped in the middle of our biggest highway on Guam, Marine Corps Drive or Route 1. There was an accident involving a van and a motorcycle on the opposite side of our lane. It had just happened when we passed by. We slowed and rolled our windows down to get a better look. All we heard were screams and I immediately got so scared. We saw the man that was on the bike laying down on the road, no movement. I wanted to stop but we were causing traffic on our lane so we just went ahead to kmart. I was in shock and I started to cry saying "I hope he's okay, I hope he's okay". Although we didnt know if he was alive, I put myself in the shoes of his family because MY boyfriend cruises on his bike too. We argue numerous times because I dont want him to. I guess thats why I really freaked out. When we got to kmart I was just so shook that I forgot what we went there for, I just wanted to walk around and take my mind off what we just saw. While there, we got a call from his brother telling us about it coz he cruises too, word travels fast. Turns out Marvin's parents were three cars behind this guy heading home. They said he was ripping it and cutting people off until he hit the van. On the side of the road theres a retail store and a bbq stand that a van was coming out of and the motorcycle was going too fast to avoid. His parents said they panicked because they thought it was either my bf or his brother. They stopped to try to help. And thats when we passed by, someone checked for a pulse and said "he's gone". We're all just in shock right now. I just had a serious talk with Marvin and told him to sell his bike. I've been arguing with him about getting the bike in the first place. He thinks I just dont want him to have fun. That accident is exactly why I didnt want him to get it. Its so sad because he was probably just heading home. Bf said he sees the guy around and he was a customer at their shop awhile ago. I was told he's african-american, in the airforce and probably just stationed here. R.I.P [I dont have his name] I wish I can send my condolences to his family. So be safe everyone.

Hiya loves! It's been a while since my last post yea?! We pretty much just stayed home today, Marvin was tired. He stayed up last night till like 3 am [I was reading 'Breaking Dawn', Im in the last few chapters] assembling the pieces of his bike because he painted it AGAIN! Well actually this is the first time painting this bike. His first bike change colors like he changed clothes. haha! They own an Auto Repair Shop that's why.

Soooo, I went to the arts and crafts store but they were out of stock on alot of the Swarovski Crystals and sterling silver chains. The sales lady was showing me how to make my own jewelry and what I would need. Im so excited to go back there to get the materials when they have it. Now im not looking to make profit out of it. I'll leave it all to DSK Jewelry, its just for me and probably as gifts to some friends and relatives.
I posted earlier that we were going to check if the summer carnival was open. Well its not... haha! I even got all dolled up. We just went to Kmart right after coz I needed to pick up a few materials to ship out the items that I sold [check out my blog sale here]. And i've been breaking out lately as you can tell in some of my photos. So I bought a new facial cleanser. It's the Loreal Skin Genesis Deep Purifying Cream Cleanser. When I got home I took off my makeup and tried it out. Not so bad, I like how it has the micro bead in them. We'll see how it works with the breakout. Anyway enjoy my fotd!

I received the last of what I ordered from maccosmetics.com while they had the free shipping promo. I got eyeshadow refill pans in 'satin taupe' and 'grain'. I love the two colors together. I need morrrre refill palettes coz im running out of space.

Carnival?!

There are some rumors that the summer long carnival is opening tonight!!! One of my boyfriend's nephews said he saw it on the news [I was like, you watch the news?! but you're only 8 haha] Yayyy! I cant wait for the funnel cakes and betting games. I've been waiting the whole year for this, hehe! Gotta look for my luckkky shirt haha! I swear I was there practically every other night for the betting games. Marvin thinks I have a gambling problem. I was like 'pssha whatevvv, bring me to Vegas and you'll see a gambling problem' LOL. Omg, last year at the carnival there were these people who were dressed up in the sanrio gang costumes, including hello kitty. I was like oooh I want a picture with hello kitty. So we were posing to take the pic with my camera and some kid holds out a box in front of me that says '$1 to take a picture with the sanrio gang' I was like what the fuccckkk! hahah I paid anyway.
